Today I was asked how we made our Superhero Silhouettes. I thought I would try to explain with a screencast video (below). We first did a kinesthetic activity where we all became the superheroes found in this Superhero ABC book using body language to warm up for our photo. We tried to imagine ourselves as a superhero of good character defend the pillars of character and picked a pose that matched our powers. Here is their worksheet that helped them brainstorm. View the rest of the artwork on our Artsonia gallery here. 7 Comments Second Graders are transforming themselves into Superheroes to defend the pillars of character in this back lit silhouette graphic. They had to use body language to communicate their super powers as they work to make our world a better place. See their images here. |
