BE LIKE BACON: the MEAT that Exceeds

Every classroom has expectations for behavior. Mine asks students to LISTEN, BE POLITE, SHOW RESPECT, AND CLEAN UP. However, there are times that students go above and beyond expectations. That's when they are like BACON, the MEAT that EXCEEDS.
This week students were given a chance to show bacon behavior in art class to earn a chance to win the BACON plush toy. He is very rare (sold out online at Think Geek) and says, "HI, I'm Bacon."

Students who show bacon behavior are entered in the raffle to win the bacon plush toy.

Students were encouraged to do a random act of kindness by writing a compliment to another Dryden Artist on Artsonia. We found an older or younger student's art and wrote them a kind message about their artwork. Not only were students showing bacon behavior by doing this, they were also practicing digital citizenship.

We will choose a name from the raffle jar at the end of the school year to see who gets to own BACON. Multiple entries are encouraged.
