Illustration Week 5/18-5/21

Students will be listening to books and focusing on their illustrations this week at every K-5 grade level. Illustrations are the drawings inside the books that help you understand the meaning of the stories, visualize the text, and give you a peek into the author's mind.

This award-winning Fugleflick from the 2013/2014 school year is about the importance of illustrations. These girls illustrated, animated, and interacted with their art as they beta tested the Do Ink Green Screen App before it was released to the public. 

Kindergarten-Still Life Drawing
