Remember when you voted to help John Michael to win Artist of the week around Thanksgiving time? Well, our little guy won a gift certificate for art supplies at Blick Art as well as the nifty plaque featuring his award winning artwork. AND the art room won a $100 gift certificate for art supplies too! I placed the order over break and it arrived today! The box was loaded with fun goodies that we will all enjoy!

Yay! I remember voting every day for John Michael and was so happy he won! How great to see him with his award and the box filled with art supplies too! Congratulations again John Michael and congrats to you too Mrs. Fuglestad ;) Thank you for mentioning my student, Samuel, as well. We are hoping he wins Artsonia Artist of the week this week!

She is the NAEA Western Region Elementary Art Teacher of the Year 2013, was honored with a Teacher of Distinction Title from the Golden Apple Foundation in 2012, named 2011 Illinois Art Teacher of the Year, and was one of 10 nation-wide to receive the 2010 PBS Teachers Innovation Awards.
