5th graders were given a challenge to draw a funny person from a "how to draw" packet while recording a time lapse video of the process. The logistics were a bit tricky since we didn't have a class set of iPad stands. We used locker shelves and our copernicus iPad stands and took turns when needed. The students did all the problem-solving, drawing, and uploading on their own. I really enjoy seeing the creation process captured in these videos. I posted the completed ones to this gallery on Artsonia. This technique reveals the thought processes, strategies, and creative choices of our artists as it gives the audience a look at the making of a piece of art. |
