 "New perspectives", Convention Center  "The Internet Vortex" | This year I networked, shared, and learned with art teachers from around the country while attending the National Art Education Association Conference in San Diego, CA. Many of us stay connected through out the year via Twitter and Facebook sharing ideas, discussing important art related topics, and help each other problem-solve to hone our art programs and practices as educators. It is so fun to meet face to face at this event. We wore our ARTSED PLN shirts and met for a Tweet up at Starbucks and posed for silly pictures. Find some below in my Storify of tweets. I presented at four sessions about advocacy, Artsonia, putting STEAM in STEM, and making Fugleflicks with students. I had giveaways at each session sponsored by DOINK, IPEVO, and Artsonia. How fun! |
