I finally did it!
For over a decade I considered purchasing the domain FUGLEFUN.COM to start a new website, blog, and place to house all my resources. I finally did it! Please check it out and join my newsletter so that you can stay up to date on new resources, webinars, & more.
When you sign up on my website you will be lead to this augmented reality art resource to explore using a free app called Eyejack. Scan the QR code and watch the MC Escher art piece come to life with animation and music. Subscribe now (bottom of page).
Learning is Fuglefun!
The Fuglefun Store
For the past year I've been working on packaging up my STEAM ART lessons in accessible formats for teachers to use with their students. They are all in the TpT Fuglefun Store. There are traditional lessons, animation lessons, lego murals, science integrated, math integrated, history integrated, literacy integrated, games, activities, augmented reality, green screen, and so much more from my art room to your library, classroom, remote academy, or home. Check them out here: bit.ly/fuglefunstore

I have the honor of calling Carrie Baughcum my friend. She works in my district and our paths have crossed many times at educational conferences and edcamps. I've been to a few of her presentations on sketchnoting, joined her sketchnote challenges online (#passthesketchnote) and met face to face with her and the sketchnoting PLN during meetups at conferences. This woman is HECK AWESOME really, that is her handle on twitter too.) I feel like I know her even more now that I had the chance to read an advance copy of her guide to sketchnoting book, My Pencil Made Me Do It.

with Step-by-step directions, animations, video tutorials, augmented reality steps
I was fortunate enough to attend and present at the National Art Education Conference in NYC this pas week. I went to fascinating sessions, networked with some amazing art educators from around the country, and had the chance to share our iPad animation lessons with others through my presentation.
I got through slide 90 of 150 during my presentation of Elementary iPad Animation. I have way too much to share on this topic right now (which I think is pretty exciting). I have been updating

with my lesson ideas here. This handout is pointing back to the numbered lessons from the flyer where you can find "how tos" and resources.
Or download the handout as a PDF here.
Illustrating on the iPad
I decided to create an image that I could upload to Artsonia to have made into a gift for my husband for our 15th wedding anniversary this summer. I drew this illustration using the Procreate app and a bamboo stylus. The app records the drawing process so you can see all the changes, revisions, and choices I made along the way. For example, we both wear glasses but I erased them. Who needs glasses at that distance?
Speaking of illustrations, have you seen the award winning Fugleflick, "Allow us to Illustrate"? View it here.
Take a moment to see our 2013-14 Dryden Art year in review video featuring tons of Fuglefun through out the school year with every grade level, K-5.
Keep stopping back (or subscribe to the fugleblog). I plan to share my discoveries, news, and art-related fun stuff here over the summer.
