Third graders celebrated having a 1:1 iPad art room with this STEAM lesson in art class.
We learned about the parts of an insect and drew an "Anti-litterbug" using the Sketchbook Express app. Students then learned about creating the illusion of depth to make a landscape in the same app. These two pictures were combined (after the insect was saved as a PNG with a transparent background using the Superimpose app) to make an animation of their insect scouting the environment in search of litter.
