I decided to use Family Reading Night at Dryden as an opportunity to introduce families to augmented reality with my animated Dr. Seuss book covers.
I've been working on these book cover animations since the summer little by little as a way to connect art, animation, and literature for my young students. I was really excited to have them all collected and ready to view with the families and grateful to have Ms Goldstein, our tech facilitator join us to help families and kids engage in this ARt experience.
We focused on The Sneetches book first. I read the story through a movie I had narrated and animated using Keynote.
