I always look for authentic audiences for my Fugleflick filmmakers to share their student-created art-related movies with beyond our school community. This year I was able to use Filmfreeway to enter movies into national and international children's film festivals. Some of these are too far away to attend, however, knowing that other children will have a chance to see the movies is still an amazing experience and acceptance into these festivals is validation that the quality of the film is on par with the best movies made by children around the world!

Halfway around the world a gathering of children will be viewing an original musical movie made by Dryden students in their art room intended to encourage all to try their best.

UPDATE: See the April 2019 Festival
18 of the 22 filmmakers were able to attend this film festival in person. I wrote a post, took lots of pictures, and the festival streamed the entire event. Check it out here.
Global Student Voice Film Festival
Do the Dryden Dos has been selected as a finalist in the Global Student Voice Film Fest. This year's theme is Activating Change. It will screen in Philadelphia, PA this summer during the ISTE conference.
