Then students animated this ghost over their landscapes by layering the digital version of their painting under their semi-transparent ghost animations. They created a path and added a rotation in their 2 second clip. | After 2nd graders completed their spooky landscape paintings (view them on our online art gallery on Artsonia here), they drew an animated spooky ghost on the iPads using the DOINK app. This was a two frame animation with movement in the arms. We all thought it was so magical to add this animation over our art work! Having iPads truly made this lesson transformational. This year's 2nd grade students were able learn about animation and transparency along with all the concepts included in making a landscape. |
