Cat-in-a-hat-ify Your Students

I just returned from Kohl's where I saw a Dr. Seuss book/plush toy display. They had three books featured for their Kohl's Cares Charity including The Cat in a Hat for $5 for each.

A couple years ago I created a custom photo booth FX allowing students to Cat-in-a-hat-ify themselves. We used this image to help draw ourselves reading our favorite Dr. Seuss story in honor of Read Across America.

Follow the instructions in the above tutorial to add it to your compositions folder on your MAC (this is mac only).

Hint: all images have to be saved as transparent PNGs so that you can easily pull them into an app like Sketchbook Express and assemble them together.

I can't tell you how much I love reading your blog. I loved your "Cat-in-a-hat-ify Yourself" photo booth. I feel happy at the effort that you take to make your students feel at home and enjoy the classroom learning. I can see that you do not believe in rote learning which is a good thing.
