Alessandro's 3rd grade color monster was chosen from hundreds submitted by art teachers across the state to be in the curated virtual art show through IAEA. This honor is only awarded to 45 students statewide. We are so proud of our Dryden student for having such an amazing piece on display. What is even more amazing about this art is that it comes to life with augmented reality and plays the stop motion animation he created that expressed his monster's feelings through movement. Scan the image above with eyejack app to see it come to life or play the movie below.
The art show is on a virtual tour for the year. You can find all of the 44 winning student pieces on display at the Illinois Art Education Association website here.
We are the 2nd place winner of the ISTE Technology in Action Video Contest.
